Why would a district pay more when teachers can get it for $9?
The $9 Teacher plan is a single-classroom tool. Districts need visibility across all classrooms — which teachers are using it, how are 8th graders doing on inference tasks district-wide, are we meeting state standards? They also need automated rostering (no manual join codes for 5,000 students), SSO enforcement, FERPA agreements, and centralized curriculum alignment. These administration features only exist at the site/district tier.
Do student plans work for classroom use?
Student Pass is for individual students working independently (homeschool, summer reading). For classroom use, teachers should use the Teacher plan, which gives them a dashboard and live session controls.
Can a school start with one teacher and upgrade later?
